Fill in the Gaps is an amalgamation of the grim, the cold and the cozy of modern dark jazz and old school indie rock.
Mix a firm female voice with a scratching echo in the back, add in a measure of slide bass, a guitar with a garage aftertaste, and season with a sharp synth beat.
Fill in the Gaps enounce that which is improper to mention at the first and the second date. They unmask raw emotions or the lack thereof.

Somebody is a song about psychological burnout and painful sexuality. Harsh synthesizers, dirty guitars convey the state of a person who is at her emotional limit. The contrast of the release is due to the split personality of the lyrical hero, and the ripening tension explodes at the end of the song.
